Description
This semi automated cell was designed and built to assist the operators in the assembly of bilge pumps. The cell consisted of three separate machines each performing a different stage of assembly. The machines included many different technologies such as ultra sonic welding, robotic assembly, pad printing, electrical circuit assembly and testing and automated screw driving. A PLC and HMI were used for machine control and operator interface.
