To handle the rising global demand, companies necessitate individualized solutions which require increasingly complex production processes. Until now the cognitive abilities and experiences of humans are the integral component of those processes. However, global megatrends like the silver society will strain the ability to meet those demands in the near future. For several decades industrial robots have proven to be a general-purpose tool which plays an important role in dealing with the rising complexity. But there is still a big gap in the field of human machine interactions which prevents to merge the benefits of both worlds.

At Neura Robotics we have the goal of closing this gap and enhancing robots’ cognitive abilities by making groundbreaking leaps in the fields of environment perception, drive technologies, control theory, material science, mechanical design and artificial intelligence. By giving the robot what is currently missing: a sense and a mind, we aren’t just aiming to revolutionize modern production sites but also conquer new markets like medicine technologies, home automation and food production.

For this purpose, the company, founded in 2019, has already developed 3 robot series. A high-performance collaborative robot called LARA, an intelligent AMR called MAV and the first commercially available cognitive cobot: MAiRA. MAiRA in particular is a symbol of the robotics of the future, combining lightweight robotics, environmental sensing and AI in one product.
