The Client is aiming to reduce the dependency on labor for the counting and cutting of Electronic Reel mounted products (ESD Reels) from a distribution center when picked, Currently Products are manually counted using length guides and it can be the case that products are miss counted which leads to in-accurate orders , customer complaints and a need to perform stock takes/audits at a high frequency, It is also time consuming to manually count products which means lots of labor is employed to perform this process currently (<94 FTE).
