Further explanation:

To maintain a competitive edge and strong position in the market, we are aiming to optimize our assembly line with automation. Applying screws to the finished product manually increases the risks of scratches which leads to rework on the product. The total percentage for re-work is currently at 10-15%. The screwing is also a manual repetitive task that is not good for the operators. The assembly line is divided into workstations (9 in total) and screws are applied on 3-4 of these stations. The assembly line is balanced in a way, so all workstations are similar timewise. This means that when an automated screw solution is applied, the setup might change. For this application we are looking for (but limited to) a solution that can do all screwing in one place, could be mobile or stationary integrated in the assembly line. This however sets some requirements to the size of the solution, as space is not unlimited. Success for this application is to ensure the improved quality and integration on the assembly line without compromising throughput.
