Description
The automated electrical box assembly cell was designed and built to assemble various sizes and versions of electrical enclosures. Three six axis robots were used to install brass inserts, place the covers on the boxes and screw the covers in place. Vibratory feeders with blow feed systems fed the inserts and screws to the robots. The machine was controlled by a PLC and HMI.
