Description
The robotic tubing bender was designed and built to automatically pick, inspect, bend and outfeed a medical component. A six axis collaborative robot from Universal Robots was used to transfer the product through the cell. A Keyence vision system inspected the components prior to and after the bending process. The machine was controlled by an Allen Bradley PLC and HMI. This machine was built to be installed in a clean room since it is processing medical equipment.
